"Male" or "female"; "Straight," "gay," or "bisexual" - terms that are sometimes inadequate to describe transgender identity, especially during the transition. Unfortunately, many
transgender dating sites restrict users from using such labels. For example, FtM men who prefer women may be identified as "heterosexual men" only on
shemale dating sites. This label not only poorly describes the gender and sexual orientation of FtM men, but may also draw unwanted attention from women who are not interested in ts dating transgender men.
